Thank you so much. I will do as advised. It is a lonely place. People do not understand as the tell me I look well.

Regarding others having both conditions, while there are myAIHAteam members who mention having multiple conditions alongside their AIHA, a specific combination with hemochromatosis hasn't been widely discussed. It may be worth posting on the community feed to connect with others who share your experience. Now, the sun holiday question — good news here! Warm AIHA is called "warm" because the antibodies attack red blood cells at your normal body temperature, not because of sunlight or heat exposure. So sunshine itself isn't the trigger.
The key things to be mindful of with warm AIHA on holiday are general symptoms like:
- Fatigue
- Dizziness
- Shortness of breath
- Irregular heartbeat
- Jaundice
These can be worsened by overexertion or dehydration in the heat, so staying hydrated and pacing yourself is important. Always check in with your doctor before travelling to make sure your condition is stable enough for a trip. Enjoy that sunshine! ☀️
