Mixed AIHA can feel like the forgotten middle child of AIHA β€” you're absolutely right that most resources focus on warm or cold separately. It's a valid frustration, and you're not alone in noticing that gap.

The good news is that the treatments you've already received are actually well-aligned with what's used for mixed AIHA, since it involves both warm and cold antibodies. Here's a quick summary of how your treatments fit in:

- Blood transfusion β€” provides temporary relief by replacing destroyed red blood cells
- Prednisone β€” a corticosteroid commonly used as a first-line treatment, particularly effective for the warm component
- Rituximab β€” targets the B cells that produce the harmful antibodies, used for both warm and cold AIHA
- Folic acid β€” a supportive supplement that helps your body produce new red blood cells
- Vitamin D3 and B12 β€” supportive supplements for overall health For finding more specific resources on mixed AIHA, a few suggestions worth exploring:

- PubMed (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) β€” search "mixed autoimmune hemolytic anemia" for peer-reviewed medical articles
- Frontiers in Immunology β€” has published research on the evolving landscape of AIHA treatments, including less common presentations
- Your hematologist β€” they may have access to clinical literature specific to mixed AIHA and can tailor guidance to your situation

It's also worth asking your doctor about clinical trials, as ongoing research is expanding treatment knowledge for all types of AIHA.
