After four years of treatment including steroids, Rituximab. Cyclophosphamide , MMF, Azathioprine and 9 months of VCD chemo I am back to square one. My only option is to have a splenectomy. This will be in the next few weeks. I am not worried about the surgery but I am worried it might not be successful. I would like to hear from anyone who has had this op. Did it work?
