I have been taking Procrit for one month. So far, it has evened out my HMG levels to 8.6. No need for transfusions this month. My Hemotologist has doubled the amount I will receive with each injection starting next month. Hopefully I will progress from a weekly injection to one every other week. Because the injection stings, he suggests icing the area prior to the injection.
